MakeMyHolidays was set up to support and raise funds for woman empowerment programme in Kerala, that seeks to support woman’s groups ,in both urban and rural Kerala . MakeMyHolidays adopts woman groups consisting on 10 members, for 3 years and helps them set up a business of their choice, Guide them on running their business, helps them focus on growth , and fund them for training programmes when ever necessary, and educate them on profit sharing policies ,and micro finance schemes within the group. In much less than two years, we have found that many of these groups turn out to become an independent sustainable Unit, Thanks to the support of the Kerala Government and the womans will to work hard ,for their goal.
MakeMyHolidays uses tourism as a tool to high light the cultural diversities through the woman s groups and bring in awareness of decentralisation of Economy.
